My last stop before the Easter Holidays, was to see Jim Kunkle
at the request of my friend Steve. I had met Jim briefly in 1970
during my early Navy career. Had a great time visiting and talking over
old times at Ft Monmoth, NJ. where Jim and I had gone to a "C" school
in 1970. We had arrived at different times and were in different stages
of instruction during that time. As we reminisced about those days,
we were surprised that our paths had crossed many times though we didn't
hang around with the same people. We talked about all the adventures
we had as Sailors on an Army Post.
Jim and I met for lunch Tuesday in Springfield, VA. and then I was off to Hanover, MD. I departed for San Diego for the Easter Holidays. |
