| Ed got me back into flying tail-draggers again after flying a Piper Super Cub in Italy.
I really enjoyed flying this Tri Pacer in the vicinity of the airports around Calsbad,
Fallbrook and Oceanside.
Other times flew Piper Warriors, Cherokees and Cessna 172's when I was flying out of Carlsbad's Palomar Airport.
The skys seemed so crowded for VFR flying after the contrasting "empty" skys in Italy, that I worked on and got my instrument license in 1990. Though I have not flown in the last 3 years, my New Year's resolve is to get myself current this year and resume flying. |
